Budy wants to say hi to TCS

So today i went to two local shelters to look at cats.When i got to the second shelter i seen this small cat curled up in the corner sleeping looked kinda like Tiger.Right when i walked in the room this little cat woke up and comes runing towards me crawls up to my shoulders and starts to lick my ear, so i say i gotta take this little guy home and i did, named him Budy.Tiger just smells him no hissing but Cabesona she hisses and grawls at him.I heard that females are more territorial than male cats is this true?

Edit to add: It takes a little while before cats adjust to another cat coming into their home. You can find some tips for introducing cats in this article. Females do tend to be more territorial.
