Brown pigment in eye?

I was wondering what this might be?
There is a brown pigment in Luna’s right eye.
It wasn’t there before.
Is this serious? Can it be treated?

Hi. It doesn't so much look like a pigment spot, but perhaps blood? Even if, it doesn't mean it has to be serious though. There are so many possibilities, that at a minimum if you can, send that pic to the vet and see what they think.
