I have been fostering a little one, keeping her in my garage, while waiting to see if I can adopt her out. So far no luck because I only want to give her to soemone I know (and trust) or someone I know, that knows someone else. It is getting to the point where I just may keep her, Im getting attached. But this is the problem. I am trying to first get Hobbs used to her, so I bring him into the garage, and Angel sees him. At first she just watched him, and sat still by the garage door. Hobbs however fuzzed up, and hissed fiercely at her several times, even though he is the most docile mush of a cat. He growled also. Tonight, the second "meeting", Hobbs did his hissing act, and this time Angel hissed once back at him. At one point I tried to put one or the other in the huge kennel in the garage to see if they might sniff at each other from a safer distance with a cage bewteen them, but neither liked it, and the cat outside the kennel would not approach the one in the kennel. Any suggestions???? (After Hobbs I have another cat and three dogs to go
