Breeding problems

Hi there
i bred my two himalayans and she ended up not getting pregnant. they connected quite a few times. i was wondering if a male 1 years old can shoot blanks the first time. should there be a cause for concern?

some males develops more slowly.  especially persians and some other longhaired breeds.

Had he had litters before?  (I dont remember what you wrote in your other threads, I dont know either if it is the same pair - as you DO already have a litter).

so, if he is a newbe, I wouldnt be concerned as yet, 1 year is still pretty young for a persian male.
