Astro is short haired, so he probably is siamese mix, not Ragdoll, because Ragdoll's have medium-long hair and fluffy tail.

Sorry to hear things didn't go so well with the first ragdoll breeder you met. You will know when you have a found a breeder you are comfortable with though.
