Hi all. I recently found this forum while caring for my sick cat. We sadly had to put him to sleep the other day due to a bladder rupture, but I realized we never really found out what breed he was while he was alive. He’s an orange tabby he seems, but I know that’s not technically a breed.

Thank you all.

I think he is / was a domestic, DSH.

Red and white spotted tabby. Some will surely say, broken mackerel, but I think there is enough of spots to count him as spotted.

My condoleances...

I'm so incredibly sorry that happened 😔

Is your other kitty/cats drinking lots of clean filtered water from frequently/daily cleaned bowls and fountains?
Yes thankfully he was his appetite still. They were brothers and he’d always follow our deceased cat around the house. Though his brother never quite liked him that much.

We also have an indoor outdoor female cat who was a stray we took in. She’s eating well and drinking well. Both cats seem a bit less energetic though.

Though I guess this is more for the grief forum section.

Thanks for the replies and the answer about his breed. I assumed that’s what he may be.
