I have heard that cats who are fed bread will rip into the packages for more. So I don't want to get them started! Also, feeding a kitten a slice a bread is like giving a baby potato chips. I would say stick with the kitten food for now, and when they are 4-6 months old its ok to start them on treats!Originally Posted by stampit3d
I don`t "feed" my cats bread....although Tedy does get a small bite of whole wheat whenever we have a sandwich.....it`s that or listen to him crying the entire time we are eating! (He won`t touch white...so at least he has "good taste" in breads)
Also have to put the bag of bread and buns up as soon as we get home from the grocery too...or he`ll zero in on that bag and try to help himself. We`ve had more than 1 bag torn open by him!

I thought Prego was the only cat who did this! He loves bread, and will try to steal anything he can.Originally Posted by stampit3d
