Both of my cats have pancreatitis. They are a year and a half old and litter mates. They take a ton of medication including Metronidazole (1/2 tablet every 24 hours. Get #2 empty gel capsules from your vet and put it in a gel cap and pill your cat. They will not taste the bitterness therefore will not vomit from the taste or foam at the mouth. My kitties also take two anti nausea meds (Ondansetron and Cerenia, along with famotidine which is Pepcid AC, 1/4 of a Valium as an appetitive stimulant, vitamin B12 shots once a week, Fortiflora and Cosequin every night. Their appetites are terrible and I worry constantly. But no more vomiting or diarrhea. I am feeding baby food but they are not eating much at all. I have done syringe feeding but they hate it. I am at my wits end and wondered if there are suggestions out there for me.
