I am just tuning in to your thread Happy Bird. I remember seeing this days ago, but somehow must have gotten distracted. I am so very sorry for your loss of Bob, who looks like an adult version of my Thomas, a stray who came to us almost two years ago. Our previous cat was a tuxedo who we lost in 2006 to squamous cell after 14 years.
Yours is a wonderful story of love and salvation in finding Bob and being able to share 6 loving years together. She is/was SO beautiful! .. What better place to cross that bridge than at home. Its a sad time but I am happy for you that you were able to be together.
