Blessing your cat

I guess we're all dorks together - my cats have learned that "Excuse me" means to stay still while I step over them, and I bless'em when they sneeze, and - oh well, etc. etc., pretty much a running monologue with them, punctuated by meows....

I caught myself saying "bless you" once to my cat when he sneezed and I laughed to myself about it but I still say it.
I talk to my cats like they're people so why not?

BTW, our hearts don't stop when we sneeze. That would be pretty scary lol.

I do it all the time, DH says "Did you say something?" My response, I was just talking to the kitties!!

It isn't, but that's what is said in place of "bless you".
I always say it at work, but don't usually get a response because most don't know what it means.
