My boyfriend and I recently moved in together. I have a cat and he has a cat. Great. Not really. My cat is very calm and chill, his cat is younger and hyper. I have kept them separated for about a week so far. They have seen each other, and my cat is no longer hissing. My question is how do I stop my boyfriends cat from constantly chasing my cat who is stressed by all the changes? They are both males, my boyfriends cat is not nuetered. I adopted my cat from a person who could no longer have him and he was nuetered when I got him. Any advice would be great.

The very first thing is the boyfriends cat needs to be neutered. I am not sure there is much you can do stop the non neutered male from being aggressive until that happens. Best of luck!

Agree with the neutering.

And good luck! I wish I had more advice - I'm going to have a blended cat family, myself, and am catsitting his right now and wish I could stop the occasional chasing and puffy tails. I'm interested in seeing what advice people have.
