Black scabbing under chin

Hello, I am posting on here looking for anyone who can give me any insight as to what is under my poor cats chin! It looks like the colour of dried blood, and is hard like a scab. It does not seem to be giving her any irritation but I am worried and waiting for the vet to come back from holidays.

It is most likely acme. Get your vet to check it out in case it is another problem. Ring your vet they should have a recorded message with an alternative vet.

Feeding from metal and ceramic bowl is meant to prevent the acme.
