Black gunk around cat's genitals?

Hello! Recently I noticed some black stuff around my cat's genitals while he groomed himself. I recently took him to the vet for an unrelated issue and the vet didn't seem to point it out unless he didn't notice it. He's going to the bathroom fine. Could it be urinary problems? He doesn't seem to mind it, though he doesn't seem to groom that area.

It’s hard to tell from that shot, the problem with the Samsung S21 is it blurs all the details out.

I can't tell much from the pics either, but I would send them, or new ones, to your vet and ask what they think it might be. It doesn't necessarily sound urinary tract related. The fact that he doesn't seem to groom that area would suggest it is bothering him to some degree, at least from a 'touching' standpoint.
