Those pictures are beautiful! I gave DH a new bird feeder for Christmas this year and he's looking forward to getting it up out in the garden. You have some beautiful birds visiting.

Well, we've had more visitors:

The ones I did not/have not gotten pictures of:

Blue Jays are now stopping by.

A Yellow-shafted Flicker http://www.wbu.com/chipperwoods/photos/nflicker.htm

...and some kind of Warbler, though he flew away before I got the chance to more specifically identify him. Poor fella has no business being this far North this time of year!

..and another pretty big bird (not as big as the Blue Jay or Flicker) - a Cardinal! Got a picture of him today.

(We need to clean the window - they make a mess!)

I only hear the "peter-peter-peter-peter.... teer, teer, teer" of a Tufted Titmouse in Spring and Fall. I heard one this morning ... several actually... and it's only mid February. Usually I don't start hearing them until mid March!

The other day I looked out and realized I could be Pope!

Yeah, I was surrounded by cardinals.

Jan you're a stitch!

I love them especially in the winter - I love the contrast of the red with the snow!
