Scooter, Pepper and Fluffy love my SO's guitars. We finally had to banish them from the guitar/computer room because they got a little rowdy around the guitars and knocked over one with a beatuiful custom paint job that was a gift from a former employer/dear friend. Fortunately it was not damaged, but we would not want the guitars OR the kitties to get hurt by any of them faling over.

Bijou and Mika have both been known to paw at the strings to hear the sounds come magically out.

I can understand your concern over the paint job - our daughter dropped one of hubby's guitars when she was a little girl and chipped a lovely piece out of the finish.

John designed and built his own electric bass guitar and it took him many months to get the finish done to his satisfaction so I know how much work it is.
