Hi,
my 2 year old tortoiseshell x has given birth to her first baby on her first and last litter(will be getting spayed) at 5:30AM its now 1PM and no signs of anymore coming..
It still feels like there is at least 2 more in there and she is still huge, she's being completely normal eating, drinking, caring and nursing her baby. I know there is other posts where this has happened but i just want to get advice to mainly reassure myself not to panic yet.
I did ring the vet but they just wanted me to get in so they can induce labour, they said its not an emergency so no need to rush.. I will take her if needed, it will hurt finically but i will do what is needed.
Thoughts? how long is too long? what signs should i be on the look out for?
is it possible she only has 1?
