Hi all,
Aside from good basic nutrition (mix of raw & canned food) and plenty of hydration (Drinkwell fountain & Catsip milk - he loooves Catsip lol) what is the best vitamin supplement for a silky shiny coat?
I have an almost one year old male cat who is in great shape, but I'm looking for a vitamin/supplement specifically to make his fur soft & shiny! It's probably just his genetics, but his fur feels sort of coarse and he's not very "shiny" - there's nothing wrong with him physically or anything, he just doesn't have the silky feel that my other cats have (my other cats are all related - mother & kittens - and they are all very soft & shiny). So this is purely for aesthetic reasons
So I'd like to start him on a supplement of some sort, but not sure what is best? I've read about fish oil, krill oil, omega 3 supplements, etc. I'm worried about giving him a daily fish oil supplement because I don't know if it's OK for a male cat to consume that much fish product - I don't feed any "fishy" foods, except some tuna/sardines as a very rare treat. I know the supplement amount would be very small, so maybe it would be alright as a daily thing, but I'm not sure......I was looking into this one:
Would that be a good one to give every day? You guys know of a better one, I'd love any suggestions - thank you!
