Well, I am going to get rid of the rats.  They destroy too much stuff around here from feed to buildings.  They have to go away.  There are only so many options to explore.

Why don't you get a couple of jack Russell terriers or small terrier type of dog. They are the best rat killers, they are far better than cats for a rat problem

Chipsahoy, may I ask what state you are in? I have been on this site for a while now, and would gladly drive a pregnant female up to you that somebody just dumped at my house. She is a beautiful young black and white tuxedo. She needs a home so bad! The chances you are close enough to drive to are very small, but you never know!

I live in New Brunswick Canada.  I don't think they would let you cross the boarder into Canada with the cat.  But thanks.
