Ben and his siblings are now 7 weeks old. They get their well kitten check ups on Thursday. The girls are leaving Sunday for their new homes and the boys will leave the following week. I want Ben to have a bit more time and then the boys have a home together. Here's a couple of pics from today.
Well, this will be the last update on Ben. He and his brother leave for their forever home on Friday. They are over 8 weeks now and Ben is doing awesome. Here are some pics from today.
You've done such a marvelous job with him (and all of them, including Tigger). Congratulations to you
. Job well done
(I'll bet you're gonna miss the little guy, aren't you
) Did Tigger get adopted out also? What's her story? If not, will you continue to foster her until someone takes her, or do you just foster under certain conditions?
Tigger is back at the shelter so she can dry up and then get spayed. I would have kept her here but she did not like dogs..at all.
My dane is great with cats but he tends to mirror aggression. She and him had an accidental run in when she bolted out of my daughter`s room and he just happened to be standing there. She freaked out and he ended up with a few scratches. She also growled at my 3lb Chihuahua like she was ready to do battle and my chi is an old girl with no teeth. Can`t risk injury to anyone.
I will miss my Ben. I am going to frame a photo of him and hang it in my bathroom where I keep most my fosters. He`ll remind me to never give up! He didn`t!
