I think the fact that you care about being a good mother-on-law says a lot and you don't have much to worry about!! I hope she is a good daughter-in-law!

Do not live close by and never visit them unless invited. My in-laws ruined my marriage and I have never stopped blaming them until they both died. No matter what the newly married couple decide, never put in your two cents. If they ask your opinion, be careful how you answer so they can't point the finger later.
