How do I make my cat not afraid of helicopters, wind and thunder?

You can try feliway plugs in or Comfort Zone phermone spray.  These might help.  Also Composure in liquid and treat formula is designed to help cats in stressful situations.  Yet when a helicopter goes over, there is little you can do since it is quickly passed.  When you know a thunderstorm is coming, you can give the composure 1/2 hour before the storm hits.  This may help.  Yet, when cats develop fears, it is their instinct to hide.  Sometimes there is very little you can do.  I try not to coddle my cats during storms or when loud noises scare them.  I just allow them to hide and come out on their own when they are ready.
