Just an update...

I gave Paisley her first dose of Atopica tonight and will be seeing the derm. vet on Nov. 9th. Hopefully, this will help!

I finally had to wrangle her into a dog shirt because she kept scratching/licking her back.

One of my cats was 'digging' on herself and constantly pulled her hair out. Eventually, she had only a Mohawk cut of hair on her back that she could not reach. The vet tried all sorts of things (shots, diets, etc) and eventually found the solution. A daily Chlortab - the antihistamine people take for allergies. It worked but the cat slept most of the time. After a few years, I decided to stop the Chlortab and the 'digging' did not return. I don't know if she 'grew out of it' or the antihistamine built up in her system but I am grateful.
