I'd come but I can't afford the trip to the Bay area this year.

Maybe sometime we can have a get together on the Central Coast or Central CA. Perhaps some can come from both Northern and Southern CA (and anyone else) can come.

I am posting this here and not in PM because I can't PM one of us because the mailbox is full. So, if you all make some room, I can PM all of us!

The Fruit is from me not the bread.
My Sister will not be coming she got Sunday and Monday off.
The Grapes have Seeds and seem a little bitter.
What add ins can you put in the bread?

Yup, the bread would be from me! I sent out a PM today asking if anyone wants specific add ins in the bread.

Honestly, just about any normal bread add ins, I guess... So far, we've only made one with bananas, and one with banana and nuts. Someone else in the thread I made metioned blue berries... I've read online you can add chocolate chips. Pretty typical bread stuff! I'll do whatever anyone wants.

Man, now i really wish i could make it...

Looks like i won't be able to make the Harvest Festival weekend either... vacation scheduling makes things sticky at the one job... I'll be coming down the weekend before (Sept 6th/7th weekend and surrounding days). If anyone wants to get together around then, I'll be there... One thing I want to do this time is get into San Francisco and walk the labyrinth once again... the one at Grace Cathedral... but other things work too...

What Fruits do you want me to bring.
I have Grapefruit,Grapes and Figs and mayeb a few Kumquats are ready. I picked a Orange yesterday and it was bigger then a Grapefruit.

I have a great salad recipe that uses kumquats - doesn't take many. I like all fruits, so anything you bring would be just fine.

I will see what is ripe. The Kumquat Tree just bloomed again a few weeks ago. My Sister said the Grapes were ver bitter. Maybe they are wine grapes.
