It kinda freaked me out the first time my boyfriend's RB cat did that. Sitting there the door pushes open and saunters Cato. He sits himself down on the bath mat and stares at me! Didn't want anything - just to um.. watch.
My cousin has a fluffy grey and white cat named Izzy that she rescued as a baby and bottle-fed him. She has a pocket door on the bath in the master suite. If she is in there and locks the door... he sticks his paw underneath, rattles the door and cries... if she doesn't lock it, he has figured out how to open the door, pushes/slides it open and comes in for some mama time.
