Evie is losing fur.
She had fleas (brought in by my dog! First time in 6 years...) for a bit, so I thought it was a flea allergy. I even brought her to the vet and they confirmed. We treated the fleas about 3 weeks ago, treated her, the carpet, all her favorite lounging spots... And haven't seen a flea or flea poop on Evie for at least two weeks.
But, her bald spots are getting worse!! She has one long stretch above her tail, which is classic flea allergy balding (I think), but she's getting some new ones along her sides and under her chin.
Is it possible it's still a flea allergy? If so, are we doing something wrong? Or is is possible that it's something else that the vet misdiagnosed? Any ideas what else might be causing this?
We did switch her food to a better food about January, could it maybe be a food allergy? Her energy level has improved since we switched foods...
