Hi there.
My Puma has had chronic diarrhea and loud, explosive farts, for years. I have tried EVERYTHING my vet(s) have recommended. Finally I am trying holistic. He is starting on Fromm wet/dry and I have tried Orijen, he's not too keen on that one. I am also incorporating a probiotic into his diet. He was on Royal Canin's hypoallergenic and intestinal foods, and we were giving him a steroid shot monthly to ease the inflamation. I am hoping that we see solid poop soon; i know it can take months for things to improve.
I am going to check out this website you recommended; seems like your kitty and my Puma have VERY similar issues.
