Aw I just saw this and I'm glad Brandon is feeling better today. I hope mom is feeling more relaxed now that her little "bean" is getting better.
None. The doc said we may never know unless he gets them a few more timesOriginally Posted by psjauntie
glad to know Brandon is doing better, any idea what caused the hives??
Well, I'm not a doctor, but I am an immunologist (science, though, not medical), so I'll try to explain as best I can. Basically, you get a lot more immune system action with multiple exposures. Also, the immune system responds a little bit better and faster with the second and third exposures. When the real flu bug comes around, you want to make sure that you get the best and fastest reponse possible, so you don't get sick. Did that make sense?Originally Posted by goosehazel
Brandon has to go to the doctor tomorrow to get his booster flu shot. He had one a month ago and now has to get a boosterI don't know why they can't put it in one shot like they do for adults, this is why I'm not a doctor
Yes it did. Thank you so much for the explanation. They had me wondering for a whole month. I should've just asked youOriginally Posted by PurrPaws
