Are you a cat or a dog person?

Both, though I've had more dogs than cats in my life. We've talked about getting another dog now that my husband is retiring, but probably won't since I get plenty of interaction with dogs at the shelter where I volunteer several days a week. The vast majority of the volunteers consider themselves "cat people" and are at least somewhat afraid of dogs, interestingly enough, while most of the "dog people" have no problem dealing with the cats.

I used to be a cat person mostly, but I have to admit, I melt when I meet neighbors with their dogs. I wish I could have one of each; I know Robin prefers dogs to other cats.

Both  I have had cats only since going back to renting an apartment.  Now that I work from home I could have a small dog but I have two kitties and a two pet limit.  Even if I didn't have the limit I wouldn't get a dog.  My kitties are 12 now and have never been around a dog.  I think it would be best to leave well enough alone.
