Are dried nail polish flakes toxic?

Pepper is 2 years old, male, and neutered

I was hand feeding him some treats and noticed a small chip on my nail polish (had nail polish and acrylic paint for design) gone from my nail, i’m not sure if it got into his mouth while i was feeding him, likely not but i just want to be sure. I didn’t personally see it myself go into his mouth, flake would have been completely dried and less than 1/8th of an inch

I think he should be okay, but in future, there are plenty of eco friendly nail polishes out there. (ie, The Honest Consumer lists some). I’d be far more worried about fumes, applying the varnish, which is why so many nail salon people wear masks.
