Are daisies poisonous?

Does anyone know if daisies are poisonous to cats or any other animals for that matter?

What kind of daisies? Shasta daisies are a type of chrysanthemum and those are listed as toxic to cats, dogs, and reptiles (likely birds, too).

Look up the specific type of daisy you have or are thinking of planting with the words "toxic", "poisonous", and even "cats".

Horses eat wild daisies, so do cows, with no problem. I doubt whether a cat would eat them.

It could have been given in a pot as a gift. We all know that cats get into everything, particularly everything that we don't want them in.
