Are 9 month old kittens still teething?

My 9 mo old neutered male kitten (Vincent) chews or attempts to chew everything in sight. Tonight I caught him chewing on the hard bronzed decorations on my nightstand table lamp. I mean it's thick solid metal with no give at all. Could he still be teething?

I don't think so. He's just in the habit of chewing on things. My Mingo was the same way, and I finally had to buy a lot of Chewsafe to keep him from chewing up my computer and other cords. He's no longer interested in these things.

Thanks for the feedback. I never heard of Chewsafe before. I'll get some and try it. I've had quite a few cats over the years and none of them was a chewer.
