Long story short.... we x-rayed Jinx yesterday to check for bladder stones since he was acting painful, and discovered no bladder stones, but he does apparently have bad spondylosis which we are assuming is the culprit.
We put him on a course of Onsior to see how he does. I could see a pretty big difference in him after his first dose. The subject the vet and I touched on but didn't go into much detail about - is where do we want to go from here, as far as long-term pain management.
I know a lot of dogs on Adequan with great results, but don't know of any cats, so just wondering if anyone here has experience with it. I'm going to ask about it when I go to work tomorrow, but personal experiences are always nice.
