Why do you want wallpaper?

Gads I despise wallpaper... It's so... annoying! Finding something that isn't garish is difficult and then heavens forbid you ever what to take it down...

And if it gets scratched or nicked, game over! Especially if it's over the stove, and you boil water... it'll steam the glue!

see, that's what i think, too - you cook in a kitchen, grease gets in the air, lands on the wallpaper - then every little piece of dust/dirt/cat hair floating by sticks to it!

What if I did part wall paper and had the rest painted?
