Anyone have a soft spot for big longhaired white cats with odd eyes?

Actually I just adopted him to a really nice family about 20 min from me. They had two younger girls but they were really gentile with him and he didn't even bat an eye at their two dachunds. The one girl came up and flopped over right in front of him and hugged him and he didn't mind at all.
I am happy for him and I hope they don't find some reason to back out. I always tell people to give it a week or two trial run and see how things are going. But I always take the cats back that I adopt out if something isn't working out right.
