Pill pockets and mixing in wet food have been unsuccessful. Not sure how I will administer for 10 days when I’m stuck on day one. Sigh.

Have to go back in a couple days to the vet so they can view progress, so perhaps I will inquire about the liquid form.

So far the pill popper method has worked, he’s cooperating enough

Good :) Follow up the pill with a yummy treat reward. Not only will that get the cat to think "If I take this yucky thing, I get a yummy treat afterwards!", the food will also help push the pill down into the stomach. If the pill gets stuck in the esophagus, the coating of the pill will start to dissolve and cause erosive esophagitis, bascially a burn to the lining of the esophagus. Stomach acid is strong enough to deal with pills.

yup, been doing exactly that, I don’t know if there is a positive association between pill and treat now, but so far so good on day 2
