It is too bad of the guy went out of business. This clever device worked like a charm for me. It came with a flap which I always taped up. The birds still could not get into it. You place a bowl of food inside of it.

It doesn't look to hard to make, a small plastic tote with a hole, a bit like a feral cat shelter. Thanks for the picture!
