Due to his colouring and what looks to be short fur I'd place him as either a Bombay or an American shorthair. I originally thought a British Shorthair but his face is sharper and thinner than a British shorthair. To decide between the two first how old is he and second is he active and vocal.

Also does he shed a lot or hardly?

He actually has alot of long fur. His tail and on his back is long fur and his belly is very short. Ive only had him 3 days so i have no hard him meow at all. He is very playful tho. Im assuming he is about 8ish weeks old. He is all black his belly looks like its black with little white hairs. Idk if thats baby fur or if that will be natural coloring.

I have not seen any shedding from him at all yet.

Ok would you say he is small or quite big for his age?

Its hard for me to tell. My other cat was the runt and was .15oz when i got him so everyone looks big compared to what im use to looking at lol.

I think he's long, his tail and ears look longer than average to me. His paws also look bigger then what i would expect on such a little guy ill try to add pics.

Ok, I have looked into it and I am leaning towards a black Turkish Angora kitten.

Yes! Your good. I didnt even know there were so many breeds of cats lol. Want to take a guess at my other one? I think he is an american shirt hair , BUT he has thicker fur.

Ok so that cat I the picture I sent is a Turkish Angora cat and hopefully if I'm correct your kitten should grow into a beautiful cat like this!

I think he is going to be a big boy! He is so sweet and loveable even tho he is still very skidish of everyone. Yes. Let me find him lol

Im pretty sure he was the runt. The mom wouldnt feed him so i took him at 6 weeks. He meows when he wants attention, hes a picky eater, shed like an american eskamo dog lol and has slightly thicker fur then my friends cats. He is super loveable and not overly active.

I can say that he is a tuxedo cat. I believe he is simply as you say an American Shorthair Cat with a Tuxedo coat pattern.

More evidence is that he sheds a lot and is loves attention. These are common traits of an American Shorthair.
