I'm working on my party invites, menu, etc., today. Last year I made rollups, but they weren't to die for. Meat, cream cheese, avocado, etc. I'd like to make them again, but want to do something special. Does anyone have a recipe that people rave about? I have a lot of other stuff...relish trays, dips, etc, but I'd really like to get the rollups right this time.
And games. I have everyone bring two $5. gifts and two lottery tickets. We play SANTA (bingo) for the lottery tickets and have a game of my own making for the presents. I make up an extra present for each person, so everyone get's 3. Long story short, you have one save, one steal, and there's one gift that doesn't get opened until the end, but you have to wear a big dorkey sign around your neck if it's in your pile. It's either very good, or very bad.
My crowd ranges in age from 30-60, with a couple grandparents in their 80s. Surprisingly, the grandparents LOVE the games. Go figure. Anyway... does anyone have a game they can recommend?
