I live on the coast, most Icelanders do. Coming to think of it, I have always lived on the cast (also in Scotland, California and Norway), except in Germany, and there were´t even mountains, and that felt terrible.
I deffinetly prefer the coast, and there HAVE to be mountains as well. If I would be inlands, there would have to be a lake closeby!

Yes, Tucson is almost completely surrounded by mountains - 4 ranges, in fact and three of them reach 7000+ feet.

i hate actually being 'out' in cold weather, because i'm like an old lady with arthritis, it goes right through me, in my bones.
but i love being inside with the gas fireplace and hot chocolate.

Rowdy doesn't beg - she supervises. She has a particular spot on the counter, where she is allowed to sit and watch. Opie doesn't even do that.
