Wow I never realized how little I knew about baby kittens (and how much I pay attention to what comes out of a little critter lol).
Lexus seems to have really stinky poo - I'm wondering if this is common in kittens or is due to her lower quality diet (the shelter feeds Purina Kitten Chow).
I know some of the problem is due to her not covering it up, but it seems like something is off when it smells up the entire room she's in. Most seem to be appropriately colored and of solid consistancy, although she did have a little soft stool this am. I'm currently using Feline Pine btw.
I'm thinking of gradually switching her to Wellness kitten formula or maybe Prarie if my feed store can order it for me. What you you think? Might it help? Any ideas on other odor reducing methods?
Thanks!
