Our neighbor is a bit ditzy....I mean, she'll water her yard in the rain kind of ditzy.
She has a friend that has a dog and when she goes out of town, instead of boarding her dog, she brings it to my neighbor's backyard and leaves it there. There is no dog house or acceptable shelter back there, other than a kids plastic house. And evidently the dog is not used to being outside because it barks and whines the entire time.
So, the dog is here and it's raining and it's still outside with no acceptable shelter. We've called the police for the noise issue every time they leave the dog. And we will call again tonight. But because the dog doesn't live there and they cant get a consistent pattern they can't do much but tell her to make it stop barking.....if she even opens the door to talk to them.
If there was shelter for the dog, at minimum, I wouldn't be so irritated but the poor guy doesn't have any.
