My cats purr for a long time, though I've never timed them. In Bella's case, it may be because she's sick, constant purring is common enough in cats in Bella's situation.

Yeah I know they purr when they are sick also, but shes always purred that way...shes put me to sleep for 12 1/2 years that way
Bella is holding her own thanks for asking so far shes still eating and acting pretty normal unless you see her walk, then you know shes sick. We are keeping her comfortable and bring her food to her and put her in the litter...shes stubborn and still wants to do it by herself!!! I don't work so I am able to spend all my time with her which is wonderful.
