She's the lead singer of the group No Doubt (as well as a very successful solo artist). She's also a fashion designer and dabbles in acting. She's a huge proponent of girl power and I feel she's a wonderful role model. I'm so excited she's going to be a mommy!

heh.... I wouldn't exactly call her music hip-hop... alternative rock, yes. She is awesome, her hubby, Gavin Rossdale, is H-O-T ... they'll make wonderful parents. That kid is gonna be one cool kid.
