Elizabeth to answer your first question (in the other post) YES! TONS of wide open spaces! Just flat flat prairie where ever you go
In the summer, normal temps are about 30C but for the past few temps have been normal around 35-40C. By contrast in the winter, we can easily get to
-40C. We experience total extremes!
As for tornadoes, this past summer was really bad! Well, for us anyway, there were about 40 touchdowns throughout the summer, when we normally have about 5!!!!
Thank God they never touched the city, and no one was hurt! But SCARY!!! (Especially when you live on the 3rd floor of an apartment on the very edge of the city
