There is a bump on my cats paws on the underside. It is on both front feet. This is not the carpal pad, it is past that, more proximal. The bump is located under the fur. What is this??

Hi, and welcome to TCS 
It would really help to see a picture of your cat's paws - it's almost impossible to tell with only a diagram reference. My first thought is that your kitty is polydactyl, and these bumps are simply extra toes. Without a picture, though, It's impossible to say.

Hello!
It's not polydactyly, there's no toe form. It's just a bump further down the arm, centered. You can't see it, but you can feel it. He wont let me get a picture

It's the carpal whiskers! Little clumps of whiskers on the paws to enable the cat to sense where his prey is when it's too close to be seen.
Bump on underside of front legs?
One of my guys is sitting on me now, and I only made the connection after feeling his paws in that area
