Hi. Does any one know about reputable breeders and rescue organizations of ASH cats in GA?. Thanks.
GA? is it the US state of Georgia??Hi. Does any one know about reputable breeders and rescue organizations of ASH cats in GA?. Thanks.
Yes, this is a splendid idea.I know it would be a lot easier to get a rescue Siamese. And it's a lovely breed. I just prefer milder tempered companions (ASH or, in the dog world, the Basset Hound). I might as well go to the local shelter and look for a calmer cat. Those who work in the shelter know their cats well.
"High kill pound"??? ... omg, thanks for the info Stefan.Yes, this is a splendid idea.
IF you want a purebred shorthair, with a nice and good temperament, Russian blue is always a good alternative. You did mentioned RB in your parallell tread, no?
but as you say, visiting a well organized shelter is a good idea. You perhaps get chosen by a cat in there??
Another idea is to visit a high kill pound. The cats there knows they are in the death row, and they know when they were saved and by whom - and be grateful for it...
