I think everyone was surprised, the look that Chris had on his face was just appalling!! I think Ryan should had been a little more considerate!!

I doubt Ryan has much to say about how things are done. The producers want the shock factor, and have never cared much for the Idols' feelings. If they did, they wouldn't do that garbage where they separate them into groups, or make one of them pick who they think the top group is, or any of that other masochistic stuff they do.

yeah, I agree! or make them wait for commercials either...ok ok, I know its more to torture us but still, I can't imagine how it would feel waiting to get the news of whether you're safe or not.
