My cat, Possum, has had pneumonia 6 mos. ago and was very ill but she recovered but her eyesight was affected. However, the Vet said it would not get worse but that her retina was damaged. now she has had a cold and allergies, she received a cortisone injection. Now I think she may be constipated. What do I do?

The best thing to do is to call the vet and let them know. They would be able to recommend what is best for your cat since they know her medical history.

In the meantime, you can, if she actually is constipated, give her a tiny bit of olive oil in her food to help move things along. However, this should not and cannot take the place of a vet visit! It is stop-gap only.
