Now I am really confused here, I have no idea how to use fonts or anything, I just post, I also have no idea what default or whatever it was that I am using.

Really, different fonts colors don't bother me, unless they are really light and practically day-glo. Other than that, I'm not picky.
I think the different colors are great for emphasis or when posting in the birthday threads. I use blue to denote Topaz's words when at Smudge's Cafe.
Sometimes an entire post of one color can be hard on the eyes.

I don't have any problems reading it. Whenever I find someone with hard to read font I just highlight it. Makes it soo much easier.
I find some colors hard to read. If that is the case, I just skip over it.
