At what age can a male get a female cat pregnant?
I had just seen your post saying that the female had a heat at 4 months, so I said that they can be active that early, no one else had answered it, so I wanted the OP to know the can become mature early, I haven't had or seen any be that young, but it is possible, atleast for 5 months, mabey not 4, but I thought the OP should have an answerOriginally Posted by GoldenKitty45
Earliest I've heard (from a siamese breeder) was a 5 month old male breeding and producing kittens. Her kitten was running with adult females. She didn't think he knew anything - never acted interested; however one of the females turned up pregnant and the ONLY male was the baby.
He became a daddy at 7 months of age. I'm sure you might even find a 4 month old male breeding or at least attempting. My ocicat breeder told me she can't show females cause they come into heat early. Charlie's mom had her first kitten heat at 4 months old.
